Community Concert Series: Uncle Pete and Pocono Roy

Uncle Pete and Pocono Roy, performs at 7pm in the Ballroom of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort for the Community Concert Series.Uncle Pete Taney runs on a high octane blend of swamp rock; bluegrass; Cajun; Irish and Mardi Gras music, much of it written by Pete for the many musicians he’s worked with. Pete rocks the banjo, fiddle and harmonica.
Pocono Roy’s dad was a Salsa Bandleader in Brooklyn, and Roy was gigging by the time he was 14. He covers every decade of American hits, as well as cultural music from around the world. His guitars and ukuleles feature artwork by gifted local artists in many themes.
Community concerts are Shawnee’s gift to the community. Concerts are held rain or shine. Donations to the artist are greatly appreciated.
