Community Concert Series: Felix Pap & The Renegade Ramblers

Felix Pap & The Renegade Ramblers take the stage for the community concert series.

The Renegade Ramblers infuse blues into traditional bluegrass and gospel, driven by David “Oz” Nauman’s strong Scruggs-style banjo and anchored by stand-up bassist Joe Dorsch, who also plays pennywhistle on the Irish instrumentals the group performs.

Since their beginning, the group has performed both covers of popular bluegrass songs as well as original tunes penned by Pete “Doc Pappa” Pappalardo, mandolin and guitar player and lead singer for the group.

Their latest EP, entitled Lonesome Whistle Suite, includes songs such as Pheobe Snow, the iconic train that once ran from Buffalo, NY to Hoboken, NJ, and three other original train songs. The trio will also perform original songs from the CD Wanted as well as the CD Aliens Among Us, named for a track that tries to explain the mystery of alien visitation.

Community Concerts Series are held rain or shine. Please bring your own blanket or chair and practice social distancing while enjoying the performance. Donations to the artists are greatly appreciated.
