These trips can be tailored to exceed the expectations of any fishing angler from novice to expert and the Spring is the perfect time to get out on the river for your first fishing adventure of the season.
The Shawnee Inn sits in the perfect spot in the Spring when the American Shad run. Rising Spring temperatures cue this large fish which spends most of it’s life in saltwater to return to the freshwater in which it was born to spawn.
Opening day of Trout season also takes place in early Spring and is another popular fish which many head out and cast a line for early in the season. Fallfish, Small Mouth Bass, Walleye, Pickerel, Carp, Musky, Catfish and varieties of pan fish are also popular fish you may find at the end of your hook in the Spring and Summer.
