Many of our guests and community members have come to rely on Shawnee and our seasonal traditions year after year to create their own holiday memories. 2020 is no exception! We’ve found ways to keep everyone safe while still enjoying these special seasonal activities and events. We have even added some new seasonal activities and events that may just stick around and become Shawnee Traditions themselves.
New for 2020 Winter Season
Christmas Light Walk
Running daily (for light walk only) November 26 through December 27th 5pm – 10pm.
Enjoy this open air and spacious walk which starts at the main fire pit on the Grand Lawn. Follow the trail of lighted trees and end in the Yuletide Pavilion, take pictures in front of the tree and antique sleigh.
Throughout this riverside walk there are lighted trees, Yule log fire pits (lit from 5pm – 9pm Thursday through Saturday), music, lights, and breathtaking views of the Delaware River and our historic Inn.
The Yuletide Pavilion features an antique sleigh, lighted tree, holiday decorations, socially distanced visits with Santa (Friday & Saturday – 5pm – 7pm), and a Pop-up to go bar (Friday & Saturday – 5pm – 7pm).

Tis the season for......cookie decorating! Decorate your own cookies to take with you. This holiday activity takes place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays until December 24th. This activity is complimentary for all overnight guests of the Shawnee Inn.
It's time to test your gingerbread house building skills. Each family will receive a gingerbread kit to put together and put on display. This activity is complimentary for overnight guests of the Shawnee Inn.
