Guest Room Attendants

Looking for team members that are not afraid of meaningful work. We use to call this housekeeping, but it is really much more.  The function of a room attendant is to clean a room, but it is far, far more important than that. The purpose of a guest room attendant is to create a space where the guest feels safe, comfortable, and welcome.  The guest room attendants eye for detail, concern for cleanliness, and friendly engagement with the guest is paramount to the success of the resort.

Our Reservations team is the first point of contact at The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.

Serving as the resort’s central communication department, the reservations team members provide potential guests of the Shawnee Inn with much needed information about rates, packages, room types, amenities, activities, and more.

Our reservationists guide our guests through their journey of choosing The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort for their upcoming vacation.

Shawnee’s success depends their knowledge of our resort and dedication to guest service.

Food and Beverage Team

There are two things guests of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort are guaranteed to do – eat & sleep.

The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is known for our delicious dining opportunities – whether it is at The Gem & Keystone Tavern, the ShawneeCraft Tap Room, our flagship restaurant “The River Room” or at a group function.

Our Food and Beverage staff are front-line team members who contribute to exceeding our guests’ expectations.


Serving as Shawnee’s ambassadors to fun, our Recreation Team is heart of what makes Shawnee a resort.

Our guests choose Shawnee because we are so much more than a place to stay.

Our Recreation Team leads all of our on and off-property activities. From guided hikes to nightly campfires and everything in-between, our Recreation Team enhances our guests’ experiences.

Guests recognize Shawnee’s Recreation Team’s positive impact on their experience and often refer to them by name in post-stay comments.


Looking for someone who is in the top 90% of guest service professionals

The concierge is the face of the resort.  Located in the lobby of the historic Inn,

They greet guests and provide exceptional service to all visitors of the resort.

Tasks include making restaurant reservations, booking tee times, arranging for spa services,

reserving river trips or other recreational opportunities, recommending local hikes,

locating other area attractions or sites for guests to visit, and more.

The concierge will call all social guests before arrival to confirm reservations, arrange activities, give

suggestions, and introduce the guest to the resort.

Grounds Staff

Beauty starts with what the eye sees…we need team members to create that magic.

Manicuring the golf course is an essential position at the resort.  Hand raking bunkers,

trimming, mowing greens, mowing fairways, mowing roughs, aerating, and much, much more.

These crucial tasks are what makes this resort one of the most stunning places in the Poconos.

Banquet Staff

We serve golf groups, family reunions, meetings, social events, weddings, and more.   As a banquet server, you are the ambassador of the resort at someone’s very special day. You will be setting the atmosphere and delivering the service that each and every guest may remember for a life time.   Serving drinks, presenting dinner, offering a smile or friendly comment, quietly clearing and cleaning is just “what you do.”  But “why you do it” is to create a memorable event, to make a difference.
