The Newest Updates @ Shawnee
The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort unveiled it’s newest updates to the resort this past weekend, the River Room Restaurant and Charlie’s Bar. Both recently underwent a transformation, and after feedback from our guests, the River Room has emerged as a new Italian themed restaurant, and Charlie’s is that place where everyone goes to have a good time. However, Charlie’s and The River Room are not the only updates that happened this weekend! Read on to find out more.
The River Room
In the River Room, our Italian inspired menu is like eating a home-cooked meal. From the moment you enter, an aroma of fresh Italian baked bread, herbs, and olive oil delight your senses to prepare you for an outstanding experience. A well-chosen wine list and our own craft beer are a great compliment to your meal. The socially distanced seating makes the River Room a safe and comfortable place to dine. The River Room is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Charlie’s
This family-owned resort has named the bar in the main Inn after it’s Patriarch, Charlie. The cocktail menu is a playful take on the classics and highlights a Gin cocktail that honors his wife, Ginny. The beer is from our own on-site craft brewery, and the atmosphere is unpretentious, approachable, gracious, and fun – just like Charlie himself. Charlie’s Bar has generously spaced seating, and the bar is now separate from the dining room. In fact, you can even grab a drink from the bar window while you are in the lobby! Open Daily, hours may vary.
The Pool
The Indoor Pool once again opened to overnight guests on Friday. The pool will be open daily from 10am to 10pm. We will be limiting occupancy and ask that our guests maintain safe social distancing while in the pool area.
The Fitness Center
Our fitness center is also once again open to overnight guests. The fitness center is open daily 8am to 10pm for reservations only. One guest at a time can utilize the fitness center, and a reservation must be made to secure the spot. Reservations are for an hour long.
Shawnee Spa and Salon
Spa Shawnee and Salon has been open for appointments for the last few weeks. Services are limited but available with an advanced reservation. The Spa is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
