RUNNING CLUB

Thursday from 6 pm to 7 pm

Join the ShawneeCraft Brewery running club on Thursday evenings at 6pm. Enjoy a three-mile run or walk around the grounds of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort and then stop off at the brewery for open mic, drinks, and friendly fun. This is a casual run/walk at your own risk. If you wish to extend your run, you can easily connect to the nearby McDade Trail. Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete the waiver in the taproom.

COMMUNITY CONCERT SERIES: JOANIE SAMRA & FRIENDS

Joanie Samra & Friends take the stage for the Community Concert Series at 6pm.

Joanie Samra is a beloved vocalist who has brought enjoyable renditions of popular songs to the community for over 15 years. Having performed at many well-known venues in both the Pocono and Lehigh Valley including The Deer head Inn, East Café, Newberry’s Yard of Ale, The Bookstore Speakeasy, The Wooden Match, Pepe’s Bistro and many others, Joanie has gained a generous following of music lovers for her performances as well as her warm and charming stage presence.  In 2011, Joanie released her debut album entitled Serendipity, a collection of some of her favorite songs of all time.

Community concerts are Shawnee's gift to the community. Please bring your own blanket or chair to enjoy this performance. Concerts are held rain or shine. Donations to the artists are much appreciated.

COMMUNITY CONCERT SERIES: JOANIE SAMRA & FRIENDS

Joanie’s special appearance at Shawnee Inn’s Community Concert Series also feature some of her closest friends and musicians including celebrated master saxophonist Nelson Hill, award-winning jazz piano accompanist pianist Jesse green, and renowned drummer/percussionist, Daniel Gonzalez.

This hour-long concert will feature songs everyone knows and loves from the big band, broadway and 60’s / 70’s eras of popular songs.

RHYTHM AND BREWS: BRIAN ST.JOHN BAND

Brian St. John Band takes the stage for the rhythm and brews series at 7pm.

Hailing from Sussex County NJ, Brian St. John is a guitarist for hire, singer-songwriter, and all around music fan. After a four year stint with his own eponymous quartet, he is releasing his first solo record in eight years. Citing Joe Jackson, Steely Dan, Jason Isbell, and Led Zeppelin as influences, St. John makes a sound reminiscent of his old soul. This performance will include his entire band.

Ziggy takes the stage for the rhythm and brews series at 2pm.

Ziggy's Solo shows are up beat and fun, with a variety of almost 500 songs to choose from, which make any event different, and out of the ordinary. Besides, playing all the crowd favorites, Ziggy will surprise the crowd w/ an obscure cover like subdivisions by rush for example.

Nancy Reed takes the stage for the rhythm and brews series at 6pm.

Vocalist and bassist Nancy Reed was born in Brooklyn to opera singer Lillie Wilbun and Marcus Wilbun, a jazz and classical pianist who sat in at the historic Minton’s jam sessions in Harlem in the 1940’s. Nancy and Spencer Reed have over thirty annual appearances at the Delaware Water Gap Celebration of the Arts Jazz Festival and performed at countless private and club engagements in northeast Pennsylvania. Nancy feels honored to have had a long time association with the late pianist John Coates,Jr., culminating in their “Live” album on Deer Head Records.

FARM TO TABLE DINNER
