RUNNING CLUB

Thursday from 6 pm to 7 pm

Join the ShawneeCraft Brewery running club on Thursday evenings at 6pm. Enjoy a three-mile run or walk around the grounds of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort and then stop off at the brewery for open mic, drinks, and friendly fun. This is a casual run/walk at your own risk. If you wish to extend your run, you can easily connect to the nearby McDade Trail. Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete the waiver in the taproom.

.On this tour, you’ll visit landmarks like Fort Depuy, Fred Waring’s home, and the Shawnee Playhouse. Enjoy a hands-on candle-making activity while you uncover the region’s rich past. Tours run on Wednesdays at 7 PM and on Sundays at 2 PM.

Journey under the stars with red-light flashlights, perfect for stargazing enthusiasts. Cozy up by the fire with hot chocolate and relax in Zero Gravity Lounge Chairs. These Poconos outdoor trams run on Tuesdays and Fridays at 9 PM.

Toby Costa takes the indoor stage for the Community Concert Series at 7pm.
Toby from the Pocono Duo will take the stage. The Pocono duo is an acoustic guitar and bass duo from the Poconos playing an eclectic selection of indie rock, soulful folk, and alternative cover songs.
Community concerts are Shawnee's gift to the community. Concerts are held rain or shine. Donations to the artists are much appreciated.

Renard Cohen plays blues, jazz, rock, folk, and improvisation on guitar and piano. He plays many of his own tunes and new arrangements of covers. This group features Renard and several other local musicians.

Jonathan's Myth is comprised of Jonathan Smith and Jennifer Browning. We are two Special Education teachers who love to create music with positive messages. Our songs tell stories that are family friendly and send messages of hope, perseverance, and love for all. Our music falls in the rock/indie genre including elements of guitar, vocals, percussion, and a variety of other instruments. We encourage you to explore our work on social media and all streaming services. There's something for everyone in our songs. Stay Weird, Be Kind... Always!

COMMUNITY CONCERT SERIES: VILLAGE SAX QUARTET

Village Sax Quartet takes the indoor stage for the Community Concert Series at 7pm.
The Village Saxophone Quartet has established a reputation for musical excellence and versatility. Their styles vary from contemporary classical and jazz genres to refined sounds of a string quartet with rich harmonies of an organ prelude and the excitement of a Jazz Sax section.
Your church, school, senior home or community's outdoor concert goers will enjoy this wonderful quartet of professional, seasoned musicians performing concerti and music from Broadway and Film scores with Holiday Themes and familiar popular tunes appreciated by audiences of all ages.

Chris London takes the stage for the Community Concert Series at 7pm.
This performance will be indoors at The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.
Since 1973, Chris London, has shared his high energy, passionate pursuit of classic originals, essential blues, & vintage rock 'n roll with audiences all over the place. As a guitarist/songwriter/singer/producer, London, based in Northeast PA, is known as one of the region's finest blues-rock guitarists with a fiery style that really connects. He draws from an extensive repertoire of classic craft roots, rock, and blues, showcasing his expert guitar and stylistic vocals and satisfying his audience.
Chris London’s original music is described as “new classics,” and his songwriting for the band, Friar’s Point, established their reputation as the region’s most original blues band, leading them to record at the legendary Sun Studios, in Memphis TN. Chris has released several albums as a solo artist and with Friar’s Point Band. Chris London’s latest release, “Classic Originals,” 40 song compilation, chronicling his best so far.

Hailing from Sussex County NJ, Brian St. John is a guitarist for hire, singer-songwriter, and all around music fan. After a four year stint with his own eponymous quartet, he is releasing his first solo record in eight years. Citing Joe Jackson, Steely Dan, Jason Isbell, and Led Zeppelin as influences, St. John makes a sound reminiscent of his old soul.

“Downtown” Jimmy Brown is a professional musical entertainer based out of Stroudsburg, PA, as well as Senior Music Editor of Guitar World magazine in New York City. He has a highly appealing solo act that nearly qualifies as a “one-man-band”—guitar, vocal and live percussion performed with both feet—and plays regularly all around the greater Stroudsburg area. Also, has a duo act and The Jimmy Brown Band.
