Dining at The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort in the Poconos Mountains is as exciting an experience for our guests’ palate as our pristine natural setting is for their senses. Two Poconos restaurants are located on the grounds of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort, each offering a different theme of our wonderful resort’s history and essence; the River Room Restaurant and Bar and The Gem and Keystone Brewpub.

Brewery Tours and Tap Room Thursdays

Experience a taste of Shawnee. Tours start in the main lobby of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort Wednedsday through Sunday at 12:00 noon. To secure your spot, please register with the concierge fifteen minutes in advance, 570-424-4000 x1289.

We are proud to present our premiere menu. Our chefs prepare only all-natural meats and seafood from the Smithsonian’s Sustainable Seafood List, complemented by many items sourced from small farms and artisan producers as close to home as possible. In season, our private Shawna Farm™ will produce a special bounty from the rich soil along the Delaware River, augmenting a selection of the region's finest meats, cheeses, and produce.

We are most excited to present superior, hand-crafted ales and lagers from our very own ShawneeCraft® Brewing Company. Our cuisine is specially designed to be paired with selections from the brewery.

Guests of our Poconos restaurant will find only the best in seasonally driven fare, a result of The Gem and Keystone™ Brewpub and ShawneeCraft® Brewing Company sharing a commitment to always remain “True to Nature, True to the Craft.™” We are equally passionate about creating a sustainable environment and reducing our carbon footprint through our green business practices.

Buckwood Café

Enjoy a delicious coffee and snack in our coffee/gift shop. Buckwood features daily muffins, fresh bagels, and tasty hand dipped ice cream served in your choice of cake or waffle cones.

The Bistro

For those who like to dine al fresco, The Bistro is located outdoors on the edge of Shawnee’s legendary 27-hole golf course. Watch players tee off as you enjoy our all-natural light fare menu which specializes in sandwiches, wraps and Panini’s. The Bistro is open seasonally May through September.
