Thursday, May 26, 2016 (Shawnee on Delaware Pennsylvania) – Spa Shawnee and Salon, located in the lower level of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort, offers the best spa experience in the Poconos, and it just got a little better – especially for brides to be. A recent reconfiguration of Spa Shawnee and Salon allowed space for a brand new private bridal suite. The historic resort typically books weddings every weekend between May and October, making this new addition especially exciting.
A private entryway decorated appropriately for the special day, welcomes brides and their bridesmaids to the Salon and Spa’s new suite. The bridal suite includes two vanity stations, a sitting area, and a studio hair and makeup chair. A private breakfast or lunch can be catered into the suite as well to accommodate the group as they are primped and pampered for the big day.
Spa manager, Jodi LaBar, saw a need for a separate section of the spa especially for brides because of the volume of weddings the spa sees during the Spring and Fall particularly. Keeping the bridal groups separate from other spa guests allows for and enjoyable experience for both parties that is more personal.
In general, Spa Shawnee and Salon is a wellspring of relaxation. Sheltered within a tranquil landscape in Northeast Pennsylvania, it is a place where guests can find space to close the door on their daily lives and open themselves to their inner peace. The 3,200 sq. ft. facility is open seven days a week. In addition to the bridal suite, the spa features three single massage rooms; one couple’s massage room, a hydrotherapy room, an esthetics room, a relaxation room, a full salon, manicure/pedicure stations, shower facilities, and lockers to store personal items.
