Rhythm & Brews: Earth Song

Earth Song (formerly Renard Cohen & Friends) takes the stage of the beer garden for our Rhythm and Brews series. Outdoor entertainment is weather-Permitting, and my be moved indoors to The Gem and Keystone.

Lead by Renard Cohen, singer/songwriter & producer.

Renard Cohen has been a singer-songwriter/performer since the late 60s. He has performed solo and with bands in many venues including The Other End, Tramps, in NYC, Rockefellers in Houston, TX, The Fun House, Pocono Pub, Luna Rosa, Sarah Street Grill, Jim Thorpe Fall Foliage Fest, Mayfair, in PA.
Renard plays blues, jazz, rock, folk, and improvisation on guitar and piano. He plays many of his own tunes and new arrangements of covers.

Renard is an accomplished composer for TV and Film with clients including PBS, National Geographic, IBM and Sesame Street International.

Renard is a television/film director and producer and won an Emmy for the PBS series Seasoned With Spirit. His documentary “Groundswell Rising, Protecting Our Children’s Air and Water” won a Jury Award at the Bellingham Human Rights Film Festival. Renard also wrote and recorded the theme song for the film which was included on his CD I See A Groundswell.
