Community Concert Series: SheilaMark Band

The SheilaMark Band will be joining us for our weekly community concert series.

Please bring your own blanket or chair to enjoy the performance.

You will hear a little bit of everything: Blues, Classic Rock, Jazz, Great American Songbook, Zydeco, Irish, German and senior entertainment!

Mark Hamza, a consummate, talented performer, lifelong musician who performs with the Hammond organ and accordion. He is the premier Hammond organist in North East Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York State and has toured with national acts. He plays a Sano accordion that sounds like no other. He can play Jazz, Blues, Rock, Zydeco and of course German music on this amazing instrument.

Sheila Stratton-Hamza, is a vocalist, whose singing voice has been compared to Etta James, KoKo Taylor, Janis Joplin and many Irish/Celtic musicians. She can be the queen of ‘in the groove’ rocking and Blues or be simple and delicate.” Still, there is more to Sheila than her soul-inspired vocals. Sheila is an awarding winning singer for her work with Celtic music.

The community concert series is Shawnee’s gift to the community. Concerts are held rain or shine on the front lawn of the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. Donations to the artist are greatly appreciated.
