How We Met...
Jordan and Gwen have known each other for about 8 years but have only been dating for about 4 of them. They met at their younger brothers' basketball games when the boys were in middle school (they are in college now!). There was a "crush" at first sight! They then became interested in more than just the basketball games! They remained friends for a few years and when the right time came along for both of them; they made it official.

Engagement Story...
May 24th 2010
Jordan and Gwen traveled to Italy with Gwen's family. They were spending two weeks in Italy staying in Bologna for the first week and Rome for the second week. Jordan mentioned multiple times how excited he was to see the Trevi Fountain in Rome because he has heard of how beautiful it is. After being in Rome for two nights, they were out for dinner with Gwen's family and Jordan said he wanted to go for a walk after dinner with Gwen. During the walk, Jordan was speed walking! We arrived at the Trevi Fountain and Jordan said he wanted to find a spot to sit down. He then began to tell Gwen that he never wanted to live a day without her in his life and a bunch of other things that Gwen can't even remember because she was overwhelmed with happiness…and he proposed! A man taking pictures caught the whole thing and took a picture for them. Then, they threw a coin in together. They will definitely be returning to Rome.

Saturday, August 20th, 2011
The ceremony will be held at the River Sanctuary pavilion on the Front Lawn at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort at 5:00 pm.
The cocktail party will be from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm and held on the North Veranda of the Shawnee Inn following the ceremony.
The dinner and reception will be 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm outside on the Courtyard and in the Delaware Room at The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.
