How We Met...
Sunday, January 13th, 2008 - The first day of the spring semester at Bloomsburg University, we were both looking for our psychology class in a brand new building we had never been in before. We found each other, among other freshman, looking for the same class. We led a gaggle of freshman throughout the building looking for our classroom before our professor finally found us. We sat in separate seats, but definitely noticed each other. The next day, we were in a history class together, and we nonchalantly picked seats next to each other. Caleb introduced himself to Michelle, and needless to say, the next day in psych class, we sat together. We found out that we had three classes together that semester (and many semesters after that), and went on our first date on January 26th. We went to a fancy dinner (Dunkin Donuts) and went to the theater to see a romantic, first-date-appropriate movie (Rambo). The rest, as they say, is history! (pun intended)
Saturday, May 19th, 2012 - We were on our way to Caleb's parents house for a graduation party for his sister, Melissa. They stopped at the family farm to "look for trail cameras" in the woods. After walking for a few minutes, Caleb turned around and got down on one knee and popped the question. Of course, Michelle said yes. Already being late for the party, they decided to celebrate later. As they pulled up to the house, Caleb's dad, Cliff, came outside and asked if we could help him move a table inside. As they are rushed inside, they walk to the door of the parlor, and to Michelle's surprise, she see's her sister, mom, and dad standing next to Caleb's family, smiling and clapping. Caleb had planned this whole day as an engagement party because he knew that Michelle wanted her family there for the most important (so far) day in her life. The two families celebrated on a beautiful spring day!
Rehearsal dinner will take place on Friday, September 6, 2013 at The Gem and Keystone Brewpub. Members of the bridal party are invited to celebrate with us!
