Jennie Her was born and raised in Fresno, CA and moved to Oregon in 1999. She graduated from Century High School and the University of Portland. She currently works as a transplant nurse at Swedish Medical Center. She is 1 of 10 kids and values family, religion and friendships.
How We Met...
We met through a family friend of Michael’s and a coworker of mine, LeeAnn Beckmann who is also now a Jacobi. =)

Name: Michael John Jacobi
Hometown: Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania
Michael grew up in Stroudsburg, PA and grew up working in his family recreational business. He graduated from Stroudsburg High School and Lafayette College. In between High School and College, he served a tour in the U.S. Army. In working for the federal government, he has lived in upstate New York, Arizona and currently resides in Seattle, WA.
The Engagement...
Date: Saturday, September 29th, 2012
Michael made reservations at the Space Needle in Seattle, and he had a plane circle the Space Needle with a sign that said, “Will you marry me, Jennie”. It was very sweet/romantic and made me feel like my engagement story came right out of a movie. It’s one of those things where you dream about as a child how you would be proposed to and I never did I think it would happen to me. I loved everything about the proposal from picking the perfect location to the perfect timing of everything else in making the proposal happen as Michael had in mind.
The Wedding...

The wedding ceremony will be held at 3:00pm.
The receptions will begin at 5:00pm in the Delaware Room, on the bottom floor of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.
