How we met... Jonathan and I met about 8 years ago while I was working at Rita's Italian Ice. We had many mutual friends and always had little crushes on each other, but never realized it until 4 years later. |

Bride's Info... Name: Theresa Alice Bonner The bride graduated from Middlesex County College with an Associate's Degree in Education Practitioner and Kean University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I am currently a fourth grade teacher for the Edison Board of Education. |

Our Engagement... Saturday, August 28, 2010 My fiancé and I are big camping fanatics, so the last weekend of the summer; we went on our last camping trip of the season. Every time we go camping, we hike up to this area at the top of the mountain called Sun Fish Pond. We decided one morning to hike up to Sun Fish Pond, since we wouldn't be able to until the following summer. Once we got up there, we had a little picnic on one of the huge rocks near the pond. I then decided to lay out while my fiancé fished with this homemade fishing pole. After a while, my fiancé asked me if I would like to go swimming and I said yes. I stood up on the rock I was laying out on and my fiancé came up behind me. I turned around because I heard a noise in the trees and when I turned back around my fiancé was on his knee with the box opened in his hand. He said to me, "Theresa, will you do me the honor of being my wife?" I immediately started to cry and dropped down to his level. I said yes, of course and he put the ring on my finger. He then proceeded to tell me about how he asked my parents' permission to marry me and how his mom brought him her engagement ring. It was the greatest moment of my life!! :) Rehearsal Party... Thursday, October 25, 2012 Our Wedding... Friday, October 26, 2012 The ceremony will be held on the Grand Lawn of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort at 4:00 pm. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be on the Veranda. The cocktail party will be at 6:00 pm on the Veranda of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. The dinner and reception will be 7:00 pm in the Worthington Ballroom on the lower level of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. |
