How We Met... Michelle and I met on a snow day at college two weeks before winter break. We met through mutual friends for a day of sledding and really hit it off. I knew she really liked me when I landed face first in the snow and then shook it off like a freshly washed dog. She could not stop laughing and giggling when no one else found it funny. We spent our whole Christmas vacation talking. After returning to school, we spent a month as close friends before I mustered-up the courage to finally ask her out. |

Engagement Story... Isaac and I took a trip to Niagara Falls after my college graduation. On Friday night Isaac insisted on seeing the fireworks at the falls. So we made our way down to the falls and as the fireworks started he handed me a love poem. When I got to the bottom of the poem, handwritten there was "Will You Marry Me?" I was so surprised! I immediately started hugging and kissing him and of course said "Yes!" I like to tell him that I knew he was up to something, but honestly, I had no clue. Isaac was so nervous when he proposed that he forgot to get down on his knee. So, on the one-year anniversary of our engagement Isaac surprised me with a picnic in the park and proposed to me again, down on his knee. He's so romantic! |

The Wedding... Sunday, October 10, 2010 The ceremony will be held at the Shawnee Presbyterian Church at 2pm. There will be a cocktail hour held on the Southern Veranda of the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort 4pm-5pm. The Reception will be held in the Worthington Ballroom at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort 5pm-9pm. |
