How We Met... Anthony and I met briefly through his mother in October of 2006. He was away most of the following month and unbeknownst to me, while away continued to ask his mother about me. He finally got up the nerve to ask me out in late December and we had our first date on New Years Eve, December 31, 2006. Boy did he make me laugh! The rest is history… we have been in love and the best of friends ever since! |

Bride's Info: Jessica was born in Boston, but grew up in Palatine, IL and then Omaha, NE. After the birth of her daughter Justine, she moved back to the East Coast and now resides in Boonton, NJ with Anthony. Anthony started teaching her to golf their first summer together and she was hooked! She is working hard to improve her game! Groom's Info: After a long accomplished career as wrestler, Anthony graduated from Seton Hall in 1993 with a degree in education and has been a health and physical education teacher in Newark for the past 13 years. The Engagement.... On July 8th, quite abruptly and without warning, my company of 7 years announced it was closing its doors. I cleaned out my desk and went home depressed and unemployed. Anthony and I headed out the following afternoon to play some golf and take my mind off my troubles. On the 4th hole Anthony sent me looking for my ball in the wrong direction. While I was searching for my ball he (with some difficulty), slipped (no shoved) the oversized ring box into the small 3” hole. After chipping on to the green I had a long put and noticed Anthony kneeling on the opposite side of the cup. I assumed he was checking out my line (always my teacher)… but as I putted, he remained on his knee. The putt was good but when it dropped into the hole… it stopped! As I realized what was happening… he asked… I shouted yes… and we never did finish playing our round that day!! |

The Rehearsal... The Wedding..... Date: Sunday, October 18, 2009 The ceremony will be held at 2:00pm at the River Sanctuary at The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. There will be a cocktail party 3:00pm - 4:00pm following the ceremony in the Worthington Ballroom at The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. The reception will be 4:00pm - 8:00pm in the Worthington Ballroom at The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. |

Additional Information... We will be having a golf outing the day prior to the wedding… please join us if you can! For all the non-golfers there are many other things to do at Shawnee!
