How We Met... We met during our junior year of high school during a practice for an intense game of Powder Puff football. Brian was the coach and I was trying to be a player. My athletic abilities were not getting noticed, so a mutual friend introduced me to Brian. After that, I got some playing time but not much… That night started our lives together! |

Bride's Info: I was a graduate of Pocono Mountain High School in Swiftwater, PA. I attended Bloomsburg University where I earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am currently teaching fourth grade at Viers Mill Elementary School in Montgomery County, MD. I am also attending University of Maryland where I am pursuing a Masters degree in Curriculum & Instruction. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis, going to the beach, and spending time with family & friends!! Groom's Info: I was a graduate of Pocono Mountain High School in Swiftwater, PA. I attended East Stroudsburg University where I earned a bachelor's degree in Sports Management. I am currently employed at Seneca One Finance as a Senior Annuity Specialist in Bethesda, MD. In my free time, I like to golf and pretend I am still an athlete. I also enjoy spending time with Jennifer; as well as, family and friends. |
The Engagement... Brian reserved a private dining room at an intimate restaurant in Capitol Hill, Washington D.C. We had a very romantic dinner; which included, rose petals, candles, and champagne. Then, to my surprise, we had a horse and carriage waiting for us as we left the restaurant. Covered with a blanket, we trotted around town and stopped in front of the Capitol Building. We got out and Brian proposed with a beautiful family heirloom. |

The Wedding... The ceremony will be held at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in East Stroudsburg, PA at 4:00 pm. There will be a cocktail party following the ceremony 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on the Veranda of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. The reception will be held between 7:00 pm and 11:00 pm in The Worthington Ballroom of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. Additional Information... (Wedding ceremony location) Please reserve your rooms, if you plan on staying at the Shawnee Inn as soon as possible. Hotel rooms at the Inn have been blocked for our out of town guests.
