How We Met... We met November ’03 at a local restaurant where Dave worked at the time. I was out for dinner with a college friend and a co-worker of Dave’s where she first introduced us. After work Dave stayed and had a few drinks with us and we talked for a little while. We would see each other whenever I met up with my friend at the restaurant but we didn’t exchange numbers or make any other plans to hang out. After New Years of '04 Dave finally asked my friend for my number, he called and we have been together ever since. |
Bride's Info: I moved to America with my parents and brother in 1999 and got my bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology from William Paterson University. I worked as a swim coach for William Paterson and as an aide for a physical therapist for a couple years before going back to school. I recently graduated from Richard Stockton College with my Masters in Occupational Therapy and passed my state licensure exam and I am currently working for a rehabilitation hospital in Morris County, NJ. My family and friends mean the world to me and I love going to the beach, concerts, watching movies and relaxing with my friends and family. Groom's Info: I went to SCCC and got my associates in Computer Information Systems with networking options. I have been working in the Pharmaceutical industry for the past 2.5 yrs as an animal technician. I enjoy fishing, playing and watching sports, watching movies, playing games, and hanging out with friends. |
The Engagement... It was our 3rd year anniversary and we had made plans to meet at Dave's shore house to cook dinner and have a quiet romantic dinner. I was living at school and Dave was living in Philadelphia at the time for work so I bought the food and left right after class to meet him at the house. Dave called to say that he was leaving work and would be there as soon as he could. I had forgotten a few things and had to stop at the grocery store on my way over. Dave kept telling me he was stuck in traffic and would get there as soon as possible. I eventually got to the shore house and saw Dave's car in the driveway. I went to the front door where my “instructions” were stuck to the door with a rose. There were a beautiful bunch of roses and a card talking about our relationship and our future. He lead me through the house with clues to find more clues and further instructions. I eventually found the final clue that lead me to a bedroom where Dave was down on one knee, with the most beautiful ring, and had spelled out “Will You Marry Me” in roses on the bed. He then asked me to marry him and of course I said yes… after I asked him if he was joking. |

The Wedding... The ceremony will be held at the Shawnee Presbyterian Church at 4:30 pm. There will be a cocktail party following the ceremony 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on the Veranda of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. The reception will be held between 7:00 pm in The Worthington Ballroom of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. |
