How We Met... Obviously that did not work....we gradually became the closest of friends before beginning dating in December 2003. We have been together ever since. |

Bride's Info: I am a nurse at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. I graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in May 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I enjoy running, going out to eat, traveling, and spending time with my fiancée, family, and friends.
Groom's Info: Rob is a national accounts underwriter for Cigna in Philadephia, PA. Rob graduated from Temple University in May 2007 with a Bachelors degree in Risk Management. Rob enjoys weight lifting, cooking, traveling, and reading. |
The Engagement... We went shopping after my exam and during this time his Mom came to our apartment and decorated it with dozens of bouquets of flowers. She set our kitchen table with her fine china and put candles everywhere. Rob had told her exactly how he envisioned it. When we returned to our apartment rose petals were placed on each stair. Rob got down on one knee and proposed. Of course I said yes! We had champagne and he made me a delicious dinner. I was so excited I changed into a dress that actually caught on fire by one of the many candles!! Rob batted the fire out and I ended up having to change again. It was scary and hilarious at the same time. A moment we certainly will never forget. I only hope to be a bit more graceful on my wedding day... |

The Wedding... There will be a cocktail party will be at 5:00 pm on the Veranda and in the Main Lobby of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. The reception will be held from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm in the Worthington Ballroom of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.
