How We Met... Toon managed to reserve a March 2007 evening for a date with Thelma in her busy work calendar. Thelma was a family friend of Toon's family. Thelma liked Toon's tune, and Toon liked Thelma's crockpot. So, they started sharing the kitchen and many more evenings. |

Bride's Info: Thelma is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and has a Master of Science degree in Nursing. In her spare time, she organizes and attends medical missions in the Philippines. She loves to sing, dance, karaoke, hike, and travel. Groom's Info: Toon has an MS degree in Operations Research and also in Management Information Systems. He currently is the owner and president of Internet Customer Solutions. He loves to play soccer, tennis, sing, and travel so that he may stay away from the Internet. |
The Engagement... Both of us decided that it was time to get engaged. On that Saturday we went to a jeweler, who is a family friend, in Elizabeth, NJ. The jeweler finished the engagement ring by 5 PM but gave it to Toon. At the end of the street was a catholic church where we went to a Hispanic Mass. After Mass Thelma and I went to the first pew. The choir was still lingering around there. Toon bent his knee and took out the ring. The choir began singing "El Amor". Toon popped the question. Thelma said "YES", and hugged Toon firmly. |

The Rehearsal... The Rehearsal Party will start at 5:00pm in the River Sanctuary at The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. |

The Wedding... The ceremony will be held in the River Sanctuary at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort at 3:30 pm. There will be a cocktail party following the ceremony at 5:30 pm at the reception tent on the front lawn of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. The reception will begin at 6:30 pm in the reception tent on the front lawn of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort, following the cocktail hour.
