3rd Annual River Road Clean-Up

Who: Shawnee Residents, Local Volunteers, and Shawnee Employees

What: Volunteer * to clean up garbage on River Road

This is done in partnership with PENNDOT and the 29th Annual “Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Day”. Local sponsors also include: The Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort, The Shawnee Institute LTD, Sam Snead’s Tavern and Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.

When: SAT, APRIL 15, 2005 7:30am-11:00am

Registration Check-In 7:30am – 8:00am: At the Governor’s Pavilion
(front lawn of the Shawnee Inn)

Clean-Up 8:00am – 11:00am: You will be put in a team of 6 –10 people, and can either carpool or be shuttled to a section of River Road. At registration, you will be given a garbage bag, gloves and safety vest.

Followed by a Special Thank You Lunch 11:00am – 12:30pm:
Complimentary appreciation lunch hosted at Sam Snead’s Tavern.

Where: Meet at Shawnee Inn’s Pavilion, Shawnee On Delaware, PA

Why Help: By helping with the clean up, you are not only keeping of your local roads beautiful, but you are also setting a good example and meeting/socializing with members of your community. You also have a chance to get a free t-shirt and can enjoy a complimentary luncheon following the clean up.

The first 50 participants to pre-register will receive a FREE sponsor t-shirt. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
