Princess Tea at The Shawnee Inn Castle
Wednesday, January 28, 2009 (Shawnee on Delaware, Pennsylvania) — The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is hosting its second annual Princess Tea in the Shawnee Castle on February 8, 2009 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.
The Princess Tea is an event where parents and children are invited to attend a tea party in which all of the members are dressed in prince and princess costumes. Attendants will enjoy an assortment of teas, finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cheese, and freshly baked breads while listening to stories in front of the warm crackling fireplace of the Shawnee Inn Castle. In addition to snacks and stories, there will be fun arts and crafts activities scheduled for guests to take part in.
The cost to attend the Princess Tea is $15.00 for adults, $10.00 for children (4-12), and free to children under four years old. To make a reservation please call: 800.SHAWNEE (800.742.9633).
During the Princess Tea, parents can attend another event at Shawnee called – Torch Songs Over Easy. This event is sponsored by The Delaware Food and Wine Festival and The Shawnee Gallery, and will feature gourmet food and an eloquent live musical performance.
