Special Valentine's Day Dinner and Show Package
at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort
The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort invites couples
to celebrate Valentine's Day, Saturday, February 11 th or
Tuesday, February 14 th at 6:00pm with a special dinner and
a production of "Love Letters" by A.R. Gurney.
Dinner will begin at 6:00pm and feature a four-course
dinner, champagne and a rose. At 8:00pm a performance of "Love
Letters" will begin. "Love Letters" will feature
Jerry Durkin and Betsy Jackson.
“Love Letters” is comprised of letters
exchanged over a lifetime between
two people who grew up together, went their separate ways, but
continued to share confidences. Andy and Melissa, both born to
wealth and position, are childhood friends whose lifelong correspondence
begins with a birthday party thank-you note and summer camp postcards.
They continue to exchange letters through boarding school, college
years and beyond.
