ANNUAL SHAWNEE FALL FOLIAGE FESTIVAL CELEBRATING 21 years

OCTOBER 14, 15 AND 16, 2005

The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is happy to announce that the 21 st Annual Shawnee Fall Foliage Festival will be held on October 14th, 15th and 16th this year.   The event takes place on the grounds of the Shawnee Resort. Surrounded by the
Appalachian Mountains, Delaware River and Delaware Water Gap National Park, this an exclusive site for the annual festival.  In addition to breathtaking hot air balloons in the sky, the event also splendors the Fall foliage season of the Pocono Mountains and has become one of the most anticipated festivals in the region. This three-day event captures the scenery's marvelous Fall colors, and admission to the festival gives you the opportunity to watch hot air balloons take off, and to enjoy live bands and strolling entertainment.  Entry to Carnival Rides requires special tickets that can be purchased once you are in the festival. 

· Balloon Launches:
  Saturday and Sunday at 7:30am* and 4:30pm*

· Hot Air Balloon Rides are $190.00 per person, with advance reservations*

· Tethered Balloon Rides, $10.00 per person, first come first served throughout the day*

· Balloon Glow (Friday at dusk)*

· Fireworks (Friday 9pm)*

·  Special appearances by Specialty Shaped Balloons*. 
The 2005 Festival will host KAT, (a vibrant pink cat), Tuxedo, Liberty Bell, Gus T. Guppy, (a bright yellow bubbly fish), and Pepsi balloons.

Advance ticket sales are available at the Shawnee Inn (x1414) and at the -Shawnee Resort- kiosk at the Crossings Premium Outlets (Tannersville, PA).  Payments can also be made by mail and must be postmarked by October 1, 2005 to:  The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort, RE: Advance Admission Tickets, P.O. Box 67, Shawnee On Delaware, Pennsylvania 18356.  Please make checks payable to The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.  Along with your payment please note the number of tickets purchased and the type (Adult, Senior, Child, etc).

Adults - $7.50
Seniors (62+)- $4.50
Children (5-11)- $2.50
Children under 5 - Free

At The Gate Admission Rates:
Friday:
Adults $8.00, Seniors (60+) $5.00, Children (5 - 12 yrs old) $3.00 and Children under 5 are FREE

Saturday:
Adults $10.00, Seniors (60+) $8.00, Children (5 - 12 yrs old) $5.00 and Children under 5 are FREE

Sunday:
Adults $10.00, Seniors (60+) $8.00, Children (5 - 12 yrs old) $5.00 and Children under 5 are FREE

Parking Rates:
$5.00 per car

Balloon Rides*:
$190.00 per person, tickets may be purchased through our Reservations office x1416.
