GARY IN THE MORNING GOLF TOUR

Shawnee On Delaware, PA, Tuesday, June 22, 2004. It was time to tee up here at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort, with the Ray Price/93-5 WSBG "Gary in the Morning Golf Tour 2004"! The rain kept some golfers away but it was still a fun day of play. This tour gives locals a chance to play some of the Pocono-area's best golf courses at discount prices every Tuesday during the summer, Shawnee's being one of the top.

Each Tuesday, WSBG's Gary in the Morning has been inviting his listeners to join him for a fun round of golf. If you do not know Gary already, you are in for a fun day. Each week the tour then selects one lucky golfer to win a special SBG golf prize-pack that included a $50 gift certificate to Play It Again Sports in Tannersville, a custom "Gary In The Morning Golf Shirt" from Ken Bro Embroidery in Stroudsburg, and a 5-pack of cigars from the Smoker's Den in the Eagle Valley Mall. Each week's lucky winners will also be invited to the season finale, back here, at The Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort on Tuesday September 14th. During that round of golf, Ray Price of Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg will award a brand-new 2004 Mazda 6 for the first hole-in-one.

Joe Stead, Head Golf Professional states, "The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is excited to be part of the tour and also be the host of the tour finale, golf is great sport and anything we can do to promote it is outstanding". Joe and the golf staff would also like to welcome spectators to support Gary and the tour finalist on September 14th.
