New Year's Eve at Shawnee
Bring in the New Year the Shawnee Way
Wednesday,
December 20, 2007 (Shawnee on Delaware, Pennsylvania) –
The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort and Sam Snead’s Tavern,
located in Shawnee on Delaware, Pennsylvania, are hosting
dinners to bring in the new year. The River Room, a restaurant
within the Shawnee Inn, will be hosting a New Year’s
Eve Fiesta Buffet, while Sam Snead’s Tavern will be
offering guests choice of dinner packages.
At Sam Snead’s Tavern, guests can choose
between three different packages ranging in price from $100
to $175 per couple (tax and gratuity not included). Items
within some of the packages include 10 oz. filet, Hawaiian
fish, 14 oz. prime rib, lobster capellini, crab cakes, warm
apple pie ala mode, chocolate fudge cake ala mode, bottle
of White Star Moet, and Chandon champagne to name a few. After
dinner bring in the new year downstairs in the tavern area
where complimentary appetizers will be served. The New Year’s
Eve dinner is on Monday, December 31 with seating from 4:00
pm to 11:00 pm.
For those who are looking for a lovely dinner
before heading to the midnight festivities, venture to the
River Room’s fiesta-themed New Year’s Eve buffet.
The buffet will feature a choice of artichoke and mushroom
salad, lamb cacciatore, veal bourguignon, Atlantic salmon
with citrus fennel butter, and roasted steamship round of
beef with many more to choose from. A cash bar will be available
in addition to the dinner. Dinner seating begins at 5:30pm,
with the lasts seating at 11:00pm on Monday, December 31.
The cost is $32 per adult, $25 per senior and $20 per child
5 to 11 years old.
