Tuesday October 13, 2007 (Shawnee on Delaware, Pennsylvania) – The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort now offers its guests a new and exciting way to experience the Pocono Mountains. Vacationers can now take advantage of a shuttle service that provides round trips to and from The Crossings Premium Outlets in Tannersville.

Anybody from this area can attest to the congestion of route 611 around the holiday season. Imagine avoiding the holiday rush of traffic by arriving, still enthusiastic, about a full day of shopping - and being able to truly shop-till-you-drop.

Not only is Shawnee chipping away at 611’s current tie-up, but the resort is also continuing in its eco-commitment by cutting down the emissions of multiple vehicles.

Shawnee also offers a Shop & Stay Package all year around, but this season’s added bonus is its new shuttle service. Included in the package are a 50-minute massage, breakfast, a $50.00 gift certificate to the Crossings Premium Outlets, and transportation to and from The Crossings Premium Outlets. The price per person is $165 - $191.
