Winnie the Pooh's Christmas Tail at Shawnee Playhouse

The Shawnee Playhouse Children's Theater presents
WINNIE THE POOH'S CHRISTMAS TAIL, opening
Saturday December 2nd at 10:00 am.

It's Christmas time in the Hundred Acre Wood, but poor Eeyore's lost his tail! Winnie the Pooh and all his friends come to the rescue with music, laughter, and Christmas spirit.

Familiar characters and a timeless message have made WINNIE THE POOH'S CHRISTMAS TAIL a Poconos holiday tradition. A family-friendly show for all ages, parents and children alike will be enchanted by this musical holiday fable. Directed by Erica Livingston with Musical Direction by Michael Walker. Tickets $7.00 for all ages.

Performances at the Shawnee Playhouse will be at 10:00 am on December 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, and 29.

The Shawnee Playhouse Christmas celebration continues with special shows throughout the holiday season, including:

LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW! A CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR
A show full of old-fashioned Christmas spirit combines traditional music and classic stories. Vintage variety fun for the whole family.
Tickets $22.00 adult, $20.00 senior, $14.00 age 17 and under.

A CHRISTMAS STORY - Live Radio Play
Ralphie's unforgettable quest for the ultimate Christmas gift is presented as a live radio play.
One show only. Sunday December 10 at 7:30 pm.
Admission is FREE. No tickets are required, but donations to support the Fireside Theater Series are accepted.

THE MESSIAH - Sing-In Community Concert
A joyous Shawnee tradition for 28 years. Sing along with your friends and neighbors, local soloists, and live orchestra as we raise our voices in Handel's immortal masterpiece.
One night only. Friday December 22 at 8:00 pm.
Admission is FREE. No tickets are required, but a $6.00 donation is suggested for the orchestra and to keep our scores in good condition.
