Santa's Helpers Come Decorate Shawnee?

Shawnee on Delaware, Pennsylvania. Sunday, November 26 5:00pm - 6:30pm Live music, caroling, hayride, hot chocolate, cookies and more will be occuring at the Shawnee Inn. The gathering will start at 5pm sharp and the official Holiday Lighting will happen at 6:30pm in front of the historic Inn. Make Shawnee's Lighting Ceremony a part of your holiday tradition!

Shawnee has hired Christmas Décor by Strauser Nature's Helpers, to build a spectacular holiday lighting display for the upcoming season. The crew is a full service landscaping company that offers holiday and event decorating. They have been in the business for the past 10 years. The Christmas Décor specialty is a new service for them which offers their employees year-round jobs and gives more services to their clients in addition to other winter services like snowplowing, shoveling, and salting.

Strauser's are an all-in-one service. They own the lights, put them up, monitor and take them down when the client desires. President, Zechari Strauser, says "Shawnee is going all out for this, 13-15,000 white lights, four - yes FOUR designated breakers are needed for this job. They are also focusing on white lights which we love to work with since it is a classy look." The whole job took them about 100 hours of installation. Resort Owner, Ginny Kirkwood says, "We want to bring back the charm of the holiday season at Shawnee and the community." She ads, "Everyone can make this ceremony part of their yearly tradition, it will always be the Sunday after Thanksgiving which is perfect … a time when families get together."
