Special Valentine’s Day Dinner and Show Package
at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort
The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort invites couples to
celebrate Valentine’s Day, Wednesday, February 14th or Thursday,
February 15th at 6:00pm with a special dinner and a production
of “Love Letters” by A.R. Gurney.
Dinner will begin at 6:00pm and feature a five-course dinner,
champagne and a rose. At 8:00pm a performance of “Love Letters” will
start. Both the dinner and show will be hosted in the Waring Room
of the historic Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.
“Love Letters” is comprised of letters exchanged over
a lifetime between two people who grew up together, went their
separate ways, but continued to share confidences. Andy and Melissa,
both born to wealth and position, are childhood friends whose lifelong
correspondence begins with a birthday party thank-you note and
summer camp postcards. They continue to exchange letters through
boarding school, college years and beyond.
