Friday, March 11, 2016 (Shawnee on Delaware Pennsylvania) – The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort has good news for job seekers this spring. The historic resort has several job openings available at the Inn and Great Bear Golf Club. As the warmer months approach, the hospitality business expects to be booming, which means some great job opportunities for those seeking employment. Shawnee will be hosting a job fair on March 21, 2016. Become part of the Shawnee team – multiple departments have availability.
On Monday, March 21st Shawnee plans to invite job seekers to the Waring Room, located on the lower level of the Inn, to explore various job opportunities at the resort and Great Bear Golf Club as well, located just a few miles away. The job fair includes an afternoon segment from 1pm to 4pm, followed by an evening segment from 6pm-7pm. The Shawnee Inn Human Resources department will be located in the Waring Room for the entire day to assist and answer any questions applicants may have.
Candidates are encouraged to bring their resumes and enthusiasm, as there is opportunity for on the spot interview with potential to be hired that day. Nearly every department has availability for employment opportunities including the spa, accounting, and maintenance to name a few.
Full time hours throughout the summer months can be expected for applicants. In addition, Shawnee is in need of bright and ambitious interns. Summer internships are available in housekeeping, marketing, front office, accounting, culinary arts and at the Shawnee Playhouse. All interested applicants are welcome and encouraged to come to the job fair to learn more about the various positions.
