Although we love the winter months at Shawnee I long for the warm sun. Knowing that the Easter holiday is a little over a month away is so refreshing. Pretty soon the cherry blossoms that welcome you into our historic Inn will be abuzz with Shawnee’s worker bees laboring away and blushes of pink blooms will lend fragrance to the crisp virgin air of the Pocono Mountains. Just the thought gets me excited for life and the symbolic nature of spring and re-growth.
