Monday, May 9, 2016 (Shawnee on Delaware Pennsylvania) – Less than a month until the starting gun sounds to kick off the First Annual Shawnee 5k to benefit Girls on the Run. Partnered with Ready Set Run, Reinhart Foodservice, and Price Chopper as sponsors, The Shawnee Inn eagerly anticipates this charitable event. Available online, registration is discounted for a limited time. Those who register by May 16, 2016 receive special savings by using the code, YOUCAN5K. With nearly 100 runners already signed up, this event is sure to be fun for the whole family. All fitness levels welcome! This is a family friendly event, designed for everyone to enjoy.
Take advantage of the discounted registration code while it’s available. YOUCAN5K discount code expires on May 16th, so sign up as soon as possible for this event. Online registration will stay open up until race day with day-of registration at the event as well.
Participants registered by the May 16th deadline are guaranteed to receive an exclusive Shawnee 5k T Shirt. Day-of registration will be available starting at 8:15am on race day with t shirts distributed on a first come first serve basis. Additionally, packet pickup for preregistered individuals is available on race day at this time as well. This event will continue, rain or shine.
