a few months of emails, Rick and Charissa
finally met for their first official date.
They both knew it was meant to be when, on
their second date, Rick volunteered to let
me practice my first aid skills for my ski
patrol final exam.

was off from school on a snow day, planning
our winter concert the next day. While I was
working, Rick went out to the store. He came
back with a dozen roses and proposed in our
kitchen (with a little help from the dogs).
