Shawn
and Brian's Wedding
Engagement
Story...
August
21st 2004.
Brian
came home early from work that
day because of our plans to
go to the "Cabin" for
the weekend. When he walked
into the house he handed me some
papers
and asked me to look at them.
I told him I would take a look
at them when we got back and
then I laid the papers on the
coffee table. He was very persistent
and he asked me a few more
times to look at the paperwork
he brought home from work.
So finally, he stopped what
he was doing and put the papers
in my hand explaining that
I should look at the now...so
I did. When I
opened the folder to look
at the papers there was the
engagement ring! I looked
towards Brain and he was in
front of me on his knees.
He then asked me
if we could spend the rest
of our lives together; And
of course, I said YES.

How
We Met...
Lloyd
Ohl called me one Monday
night saying that his
Best Friend Brian had
just received a Large
Tax return and was talking
everyone out for a BIG
night out on the town
on Friday to Montana
West. Since I really
didn’t know a lot
of people Lloyd thought
that this would be a
great opportunity for
me to meet some new people.
I told him that if I
wasn’t doing anything
that I would stop by.
That Friday, I went to
help my mom out at work,
I got home around 6:45pm
or so, I was extremely
dirty and smelly. Just
got something to drink
and there was Liz at
my door asking me if
I was ready to go?? I
really could not go as
I was, nor was I planning
on it, but in my driveway
sat Brian, Lloyd, and
Liz waiting on me. They
are the only ones that
ended up going. He wasn’t
taking a bunch of people
out it was the 4 of us.
So, I quickly jumped
in the shower and out
I went. We had fun that
night, but it wasn’t
until a few days later
that things happened
between us.
I
called Lloyd about
cutting my mom’s
lawn, he said that
he was too busy but
maybe his friend
Brian could do it.
Within 5 minutes
of that phone call
Brian was standing
in my mom’s
driveway. I showed
him that property
and we talked all
night and finally
when he was about
to leave, he asked
me if I would like
to go out sometime
for dinner, and I
responded with “if
you want”.
The poor guy left
thinking that I wasn’t
interested. Well,
over three years
later we are still
going out for dinner;
funny how things
happen. |

The
Wedding
Date: May 28th, 2005
Ceremony begins at 4:00 PM on the font lawn
of the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort facing the Delaware
River. A group picture of ALL guests will be taken immediatly after the ceremony
on the steps of the Inn. Cocktail Hour will begin at 5:00 PM located on the veranda
and Pearsall room. The reception will follow in the Worthington Ballroom starting
at 6:00 pm. Alternative ceremony setting on site incase of inclement weather.
A block of rooms are reserved for wedding guests at The Shawnee Inn and Golf
