Joyce & Harland's Wedding Date: August 27th, 2005 The wedding ceremony will occur on the lawn at The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort, with the backdrop of the Delaware River. The reception will immediately follow on the veranda of the Inn, at approximately 2pm. The Engagement Date: October 18th, 2003 The engagement came as a surprise to Joyce, on her birthday. Several close friends and family witnessed the occasion.	Bride's Info: Joyce C. She is the Executive Director of Democracy Works, a non-partisan organization in Hartford, CT.	Groom's Info: Harland O. Henry Hometown: Middletown, CT email: harland@snet.net Harland is the Director of Community Outreach and Small Business Development in the Connecticut Secretary of the State's Office.
	How They Met We met through mutual friends who thought that we would be great together. We worked closely together on several projects and then began dating. Our friends were definitely right.
