Fostering Growth at the Pocono Cupcake Challenge

You nurture. Foster growth. You hope, pray, and dream that they will grow up to be the best version of themselves. A lot of people would associate these fragmented thoughts with raising a family. Here at Shawnee, we are in the middle of planning our 3rd Annual Pocono Cupcake Challenge. Our event that infuses sweet treats with social responsibility has been growing since it was just a glimmer in our General Manager’s eye. The first year we, with the help of our sponsors and cupcake vendors, were able to raise $6,000 for the United Way of Monroe County. Last year, our combined donations eclipsed the $10,000 mark.

My how our event has grown and we are so very excited to see what this year’s development brings. Bunny ears or loop, swoop, and pull?

The 3rd Annual Pocono Cupcake Challenge is scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 21, 2014. At present, we are accepting cupcake vendor and sponsor registrations. The Pocono Cupcake Challenge relies on its charitable bakers who volunteer their talents. If you are interested in participating, please contact us by e-mailing: Sales@ShawneeInn.com or by calling: 570-424-4050. Sponsor and Registration forms can be found by clicking here.
