Spa Shawnee and Salon is currently hiring nail technicians.

Maintenance

We are currently accepting applications for maintenance staff.

We are seeking customer service oriented individuals with strong plumbing, electrical, mechanical, painting, and carpentry skills. Job duties include, but are not limited to, maintaining general units, common areas, pool areas, and grounds; repairing/replacing doors, windows, walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, furniture, cabinetry, and remodeling work; performing plumbing maintenance such as pipes, drains, faucets, disposals, showers and Jacuzzi tubs using methods that include soldering, brazing silver, PVC, CPVC, and fittings, resetting/replacing breakers, ballast and other electrical fixtures including switches and sockets; preventing and troubleshooting possible electrical hazards; repairing interior walls, wall coverings and ceilings by patching drywall, replacing wood or wall coverings or texture and painting, and maintaining and categorizing records and work requests.

Food & Beverage

Basic Qualifications Education/Training: High School Diploma or GED Preferred

Experience:

  • To clean agreed designated areas, in accordance with laid-down procedures, morning/evening routines and hygiene requirements. Items to include floor sweeping, mopping, hot press cleaning, soda fountain cleaning, garbage removal and general area dusting and cleaning
  • To clean and refill condiments as needed
  • To set tables to laid-down standards, ensuring that all items used are clean, undamaged and in a good state of repair
  • To ensure back-up storage areas are adequately stocked with replacement cutlery/plates or other established needs
  • Replace food as needed and convey food needs to main kitchen for extra items when required
  • Make sure coffee pot is full at all times
  • Keep ice hopper in soda fountain full
  • Fill hot press with food and remove food at the predetermined meal times

Ancillary Duties:

  • Attends all mandatory in-service training and required meetings
  • Performs tasks, which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time. Length of time will vary day-to-day and task-to-task

The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is currently hiring part time Bartenders to provide exceptional service to our guests at everything from casual BBQs to high end weddings. Applicants must have prior experience and provide a positive first impression; both in appearance and communication.
