The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is seeking a new addition to our Accounting team in the role of Accounting Clerk.

This position will serve various functions throughout the Accounting office; applicants must have prior similar experience before applying for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Perform reconciliations.
• Calculate and prepare checks for utilities, taxes and other payments.
•  Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
• Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data in order to compile and keep financial records.

Qualifications:

• Proven prior experience in all responsibilities areas listed above.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; able to create and maintain spreadsheets.
• Pleasant phone demeanor, as this is how the majority of business will be handled.
• Excellent attention to detail is imperative.
• Ability to conduct all business with professionalism, including the handling of sensitive and confidential information.
• Prior similar experience is necessary.

• Wrap and stock food orders as they arrive

The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is looking for dynamic individual to be the public face of our Brewpub Restaurant.

Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with local hotels, inns, motels and bed & breakfasts that don’t offer food service.
• Visit local businesses (including doctor’s offices, law offices and banks) with menus and special event information.
• Take photos and post on social networking sites regularly.
• Maintain our email club and ensure that information is communicated to all members. Work with the Chef for special event menus.
• Speak to guests looking for private parties; work with them on all details of event and communicate to all other staff members.
• Attend local chamber and community events on behalf of the Gem and Keystone.
• Train and work as a host at the restaurant.

Qualifications:

• Must be familiar with the hospitality industry; either through education or direct experience, preferably both. This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate.
• Must be familiar with social networking and able to keep our sites updated with items of interest to our guests.
• Must have ideas and drive to see the brewpub succeed.
• Must have a great personality and be well spoken in order to interact with the public on behalf of the Gem and Keystone.
• Must be extremely organized as this position will require multi-tasking and often working unsupervised.

• Managing a staff of 20 - 25 team members
• Cash management and drawer reconciliation
• Developing a robust beer club and merchandise sales program
