How We Met...
We
fell in love in high school 15 years
ago, dated for about a year and a
half, then broke up. We kept in touch
on and off over the years, but it
wasn’t until my sister, Denise,
told me Andy was stationed in Iraq
that we began corresponding regularly
again. When Andy came home from his
tour in March, 2005 we were blissfully
reunited.
The
Engagement...

We
were vacationing in Quebec
City, walking through a
park overlooking the old
city when Andy got down
on bended knee and popped
the question.

in American Studies in 1995.
From 1989-2006 I served in the
Army and the NJ National Guard.
During that time I served in
the Gulf War of 1991, was activated
for 9/11 and for a year deployment
in Iraq. My career since 1998
has been that of a history teacher.
I am currently teaching at Wallkill
Valley High School. Outside of
work I enjoy being outdoors,
traveling, and spending time
