I am an orthotic fitter who is currently working within the DME (medical
equipment), industry.
How
They Met ...
It
was my Dad's retirement party
in Jan 2001. Rashid came
with his friend , (who works
with the family business),
for an evening of food and
entertainment. And so the
party went on, and me, being
a good hostess, tried to
make everyone feel comfortable
at our home. In fact, I was
also delegated to handle
the video that evening as
requested by my Dad. Feeling
a little overwhelmed with
all that I had to do, Rashid
introduced himself to me
and just offered to help
me out with the video and
so we started talking that
evening and actually kept
in touch with each other
thereafter... as friends...
and then good friends...
And the rest is history.
The Wedding...

Our wedding will be an event to remember with a blend of Eastern and Western
culture. Upon arrival, guests will be directed / escorted to the area of
the ceremony on the front lawn of the Inn.
The ceremony will take place on the front lawn of the Shawnee Inn facing
the Delaware River, at 5:00 pm.
A cocktail party will be held outside on the Veranda of The Shawnee Inn
following the ceremony for an hour before the reception.

the rehearsal dinner
at the Asthana resident

you will be attending this event). Be ready to keep the party going after
dark...
Daytime
- Guest can take this time
to explore the area! There
are many activities including;
hiking, biking, water sports,
golfing and shopping to do
in the area. Please take
time to enjoy the surroundings.
The Wedding will start promptly
at 5:00 pm and is located
on the front lawn of The
Shawnee Inn facing the Delaware
River.
Cocktail hour will follow
and will be located outside
on the Veranda of The Shawnee
Inn.
The Reception will begin
about 7:00 pm and will be
located in The Worthington
Ballroom.
For those who want to continue
the party, the after party
will be held at Charlie's
Lounge, located near the
lobby of the Inn.
