How They Met...
We
met when Bonnie was working at a
deli when she was 17 years old. I
would come in and Bonnie would give
me free sandwiches. There was always
an attraction between us. One day
Bonnie gave me her phone number but
wouldn't write it down. She
said if I could remember it then
I could call. I did and we talked
for about a month on the phone. We
started dating and have been together
ever since.
The Engagement
We
got engaged on May 27th 2006.
It was Memorial Day weekend
and we had some friends over.
I was joking around with Jay
saying that he would never
ask me to marry him. Jay ran
inside and I thought he was
upset. When I turned around
Jay was on his knee with the
ring in his hand. “Will you marry
me?” I was in shock! “Are
you serious? Is this a joke?” With
tear-filled eyes I said “Of Course”!
I later found out that Jay had the ring
for almost a year just waiting for the
perfect moment, which it was!

Wedding...
Date:
Friday, August 31st, 2007
The ceremony will be held
on the Front Lawn of The
Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort
at 6:00 pm. This will be a beach theme wedding.
There will be a cocktail party immediately following the ceremony at 6:30
pm on the Veranda of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.
The reception will be held at 7:30 pm in The Waring Room at the lower level
of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.
This is a casual/semi formal wedding. Please do not feel you have to wear
a suit. It may be hot! Slacks and button down shirts with a tie will be just
fine. Girls remember when choosing footwear, the wedding is on the front
lawn. We want you to be comfortable and have a great time with us on our
special day
