How They Met...
Vivian's
Uncle Pete introduced us in 2004.
Our first date was on July 14th
and we had no idea what to expect.
Vivian couldn't resist my Southern
charm, so we continued to date.
Of course we had our problems as
other couples do, we climbed out
on top and kept on going strong.
The
Engagement...
Date: September 1st,
2005
Well funny story....
It was Halloween of '04, I wanted to
marry her then; but we decided September
1st 2005 that if we made it through
a 6 1/2 month deployment that we would
get married. We sent so many e-mails
to each other, almost 10,000 to be exact.
I think we could always tell something
big was going to come out of us dating.
I was in port in the United Arab
Emirates and we were on the phone and
we decided that we both wanted to be
married, so we stuck with it. I was
only a little over half-way done with
the cruise and was going crazy out there
without Vivian. When I came home, I
got the ring and proposed because anyone
that can wait that long for me is either
crazy or in love.
